We offer facets of powerlifting, bodybuilding, Athletic strength & conditioning, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts. We also offer team training for your sport whatever it may be and have successfully worked with semi pro as well as professional athletes from a range of sports.

Boom! Athletics as an idea was created by Sean Seaberg back in 2007 while Sean was working with clients at a gym in Methuen Massachusetts. Sean would always say “Boom” without realizing it when people would be hitting good reps and doing well. Eventually one of his clients made him a shirt that said “Boom” on the front and had his other slogan on the back which is “Hate me now, Love me later.” As time went on he came up with the name Boom! Athletics and he has been using it ever since.

The basis is revolved around stability and balance while the rest follows with strength, agility, coordination, speed in attempts to bring all these things together in a progressive manner.

Dan Dinan

Head Coach / Personal Trainer

Dan has been playing sports since he was a kid and has always been an active person. When he was in 8th grade playing JV football he was excelling as a defensive end when he was speared in his back which led to a spinal fracture ending his athletic career for the rest of the season and going into the next year. It’s when he started rehabilitation that he first started finding himself becoming more focused on fitness and learning how to lift weights...

INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAMMING & COACHING

Individualized Athlete training is about finding what you need to make you excel towards your goals and specifically your sport if you’re active in competition . Whether you need to work on some techniques to get used to being in group classes, coming back from an injury, or you perform at a professional sport level we have just the right prescription for your needs.

We will work on finding your strong points as well as your weak points. The focus will be finding a program created just for you will need to include to reach your goal.

Expect the best results from individualized training and undivided attention from our dedicated professional coaches.

You will work with your Coach 1 on 1 and your coach will personally guide you through each training program to make sure you understand all your training cycles while addressing any issues along the way accordingly.

NUTRITION GUIDANCE

Group Nutrition: Come Join our classes and learn about nutrition and how it all works. Learn about different diets, basics, ideas, how to eat just for you, connecting the dots of your nutritional needs.

Individualized Nutrition Programming:
If you need individual attention to get started on the right path or need to reach the next level of your quest to ideal health we can help guide you to your goals. We will teach you and show you how to intelligently diet your way to success. Whether it’s rapid fat loss, event prep for special athletic events, Bodybuilding, general muscle gain, or just to reach a healthy space learning how to eat sanely as well as practically we will help you get on the right path.

MARTIAL ARTS

Learn discipline and the art of self defence. Learn to rely on yourself on your quest to become the ultimate version of yourself.

Work your way through the inner workings of what it takes to become strong willed. In martial arts you will develop a self empowerment like never before while gaining a respect for combat arts that every person should experience in their life. Jiu Jitsu/Grappling: Grappling & Jiu Jitsu is a great way to learn close combat methods to control an opponent through different variations of manipulations and techniques. We teach Gi as well as NoGi Styles.

Boxing: Learn the basics of boxing and close combat using your hands. Learn to evade punches and combination while learning to bring your own style as you learn the skills to learn one of the most basic fundamental martial arts in existence. Boxing is more than just punching and come see how technical work can be just as much of a workout as any cardio boxing class you’ll ever do.

KickBoxing: Bring together traditional boxing with kicking styles varied from the essence of muay thai and taekwondo. Learn combinations and techniques that can be used for sport or self defensive tactics. Challenge your coordination and balance like never before while learning one of the most useful skillsets the human body can acquire.

Mixed Martial Arts: Join our team training and practice while combining all martial arts to practice the fastest growing sport on the planet.

THERAPEUTIC YOGA

Yoga has long been practiced with therapeutic intentions as a way of transforming both the body and the mind. According to classical texts, most of the problems in our health come from a state of ignorance of who and what we are. By offering a vehicle of self knowledge, yoga provides the opportunity to become acquainted with our essence. Knowing about Yoga, especially its practices and importance, leads us to a better understanding of ourselves and helps us gain physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual balance. From a psychological standpoint, therapy is defined as the possibility of accessing self-knowledge that will enable us to change that what we consider dysfunctional. A number of research studies have systematized the Yoga Therapy definition and have proven its effectiveness at developing exactly this type of higher awareness.
